His PhD was supervised by Prof. Pedro Rodriguez Cortés and the board of opponents was composed by Jose Maria Maza Ortega, Associate Professor at the University of Sevilla, Pablo Garcia Fernandez, Associate Professor of the University of Oviedo and Antonio Garcia Espinosa, Associate Professor at the Technical University of Catalonia.
