Visit and Research Stay at the MIT Energy Initiative Center

In the framework of the project "Intelligent Distributed Management and Control of Power Systems for Isolated Communities" promoted by Pedro Rodríguez with the support of the University of Loyola, the MIT, SEER-UPC and the University of Comillas a meeting at the MIT Energy Initiative faciliites was held on the 4th of October in Boston. The two research fellows that will be spending one month working on the project for Loyola and SEER attended the meeting. This project was granted by the MIT-Spain programme of LaCaixa Foundation and intends to contribute to a sustainable deployment of electrification in countries under develpment and extend the energy access to communities that nowadays do not count on the minimum 200Wh of electrical energy supply.
