Atanasi Jornet received the B.S, M.S and PhD degree in industrial engineering from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), Barcelona, Spain. For more than 15 years, he was an head of the Electrical Machine design and test lab at AEG, where he shared his duty as chief engineer with an Assistant Professor position at UPC since 2004. He has authored or coauthored several technical papers, and has been involved in several industrial projects in the fields of power quality, electrical machines,and motor drives.
