The purpose of this partnership between Abengoa and the UPC is to promote the best scientific progress in the research of common interest as well as to foster a deeper mutual understanding leading to a transfer of new knowledge to productive sectors that may apply.

Both institutions have thus agreed to define a stable and lasting relationship framework not based, a priori, and whether they could happen in concrete and specific projects, but on mutual recognition of the value and capabilities that both can cherish and development of shared experiences, aware that progress pursued need this type of collaborative frameworks to get through.
