The design of new solutions for improving the integration of renewable energy systems into the network requires the performance of intensive experimental test, and thus the development of demonstrators able to reproduce realistic grid conditions with an accurate design rates between the systems that should interact in the test.

SEER has a long experience in the developement of new solutions and their test and so its experience is also remarkable regarding the the design of demonstrators. In this specific project a grid emulator in the range of 250kVA able to control the output voltage and frequency following different patterns of gobernors and exciters have been designed, constructed and programmed for the electrical labs of Abengoa.
